Security Officer - Tech Media Screener

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with individuals entering the location, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation while contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

+ Greet and screen all individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.

+ Follow established security-related procedures and protocols tailored to a technology-focused environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by answering questions and addressing concerns related to security-related matters.

+ Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
