We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our recruitment and human resources efforts, focusing on administrative tasks and candidate interactions. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review and organize resumes submitted for job openings, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and suitability.
• Coordinate interview schedules by communicating with candidates and internal team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR information system.
• Assist in onboarding processes, including preparing documentation and coordinating trainings.
• Provide support for employee benefits administration and related inquiries.
• Collaborate with the HR team on various administrative tasks to streamline operations.
• Facilitate clear and precise communication with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving recruitment workflows by identifying areas for efficiency.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in human resources or talent acquisition.
• 0-2 years of experience in HR or a related field; internships or volunteer roles are highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in managing schedules and coordinating interviews.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and basic administrative tools.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Demonstrates a detail-oriented approach when interacting with candidates and colleagues.
