Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer

The Role
The Executive Assistant (EA) works in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, providing highlevel executive, administrative, and operational support. This is a and integral role that supports leadership work impacting staff, families, governance, and the future of the organization.
This is not a traditional taskonly administrative role. It is a position for someone who is thoughtful, proactive, highly organized, and able to anticipate needs while managing multiple priorities with care and professionalism.
What Youll Do
Executiveolland& Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive, highlevel administrative support to the CEO Manage a complex calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate priorities
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
Governance & Leadership Support
- Support Board of Directors and committee work, including meeting coordination and document preparation
- Track action items, deadlines, and key governance priorities
- Assist with executive planning and organizational accountability processes
Project & Operations Coordination
- Support special projects, organizational initiatives, and expansionrelated work
- Track timelines, deliverables, and milestones indy multiple priorities
- Coordinate with internal leaders, consultants, and external partners
nnCommunication & Relationship Support
- Serve as a professional, welcoming point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Support clear, thoughtful communication aligned with organizational values
- Help ensure smooth information flow across leadership and operational teams
What Were Looking For
You bring both formal preparation and realworld experience to this role. You are someone who:
- Holds a recognized Executive Assistant / Executive Office Administration diploma and/or has demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership or executives
- Has experience managing complex calendars, competing priorities, and confidential information
- Is highly organized, detailoriented, and dependable
- Thrives in a fastpaced environment while remaining calm and grounded
- Anticipates needs and takes initiative
- Communicates clearly, professionally, and with warmth
- Values discretion, trust, and professionalism
Experience in a nonprofit, education, or communitybased organization and experience supporting Boards of Directors are strong assets.
