Job Summary

Accounting Clerk/Generalist responsible for day?to?day accounting operations at Rolling Start, Inc. Maintains accurate records, processes financial transactions, and ensures compliance with GAAP and grant management standards.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounts receivable: prepare monthly invoices and maintain customer and vendor records.
• Accounts payable: manage purchase orders and maintain vendor records.
• Input all grants and other donations.
• Bank reconciliations for depository accounts.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts; review for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries as needed.
• General ledger maintenance.
• Prepare semi?monthly payroll in ADP, process PARS and time reports.
• Maintain required business documents and financial document retention files.
• New vendor setup and maintenance; vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies.
• Deposit and cash reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience executing accounting competencies; bachelors degree is a plus.
• Experience with non?profit fund accounting and QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with State and Federal Grant Administration and developing grant budgets.
• Ability to work in a fast?paced, detailed environment with minimal supervision.
• Disability sensitivity and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Work Incentives Act, and IDEA preferred.

Employment Details

Full?time; 40 hours per week; hourly $17$22 per hour.
