divh2Production Assistant - Washington DC/h2pJob Category: Broadcasting - Production/ppRequisition Number: PRODU001256/ppFull-Time/ppOn-site/ppWashington, DC 20005, USA/ph3Description/h3pstrongCore Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/pulliAttend production meetings./liliType, edit, copy, and distribute scripts./liliOrganize travel arrangements for cast, crew, and production staff./liliCoordinate accommodation for cast and crew./liliPrepare and distribute schedules, rundowns, and cue sheets./liliAccurately log video footage and catalog metadata./liliAssist cast members and occasionally run personal or production-related errands./liliRun errands between the production office and other departments as needed./liliManage basic accounting tasks, including processing expenses and petty cash./liliKeep track of timing during live or recorded programs./liliSet up pre-recorded material for use in the studio or control room./liliCreate schedules, shot lists, logs, and other documentation for post-production./liliMonitor live feeds and assist with breaking news coverage./liliSupport crews with logistics, equipment coordination, and basic production needs./liliTeam player, who can anticipate needs and handle multiple tasks at once./li/ulpstrongPosition Requirements:/strong/pulli2+ years post college work experience (excluding internships) ideally in a creative function such as TV production, marketing, radio, or social media./liliBachelors degree: Communications/Broadcasting/Marketing or related field./liliGPA Requirement 3.8 or above./liliStrong working knowledge of politics, journalism, and current events./liliExcellent writing, communication, and organizational skills./liliDetail-oriented with ability to work and thrive in a deadline driven environment./liliFlexible shifts.
