About Our Client

Our client is a global automotive manufacturer experiencing rapid, sustained growth and are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead high-volume manufacturing operations at our Central Missouri facility. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling production to meet aggressive growth targets, and ensuring world-class quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership skills, deep experience in global industrial manufacturing environments, and a proven ability to manage complexity in fast-paced, high-growth operations.

Job Description

• Lead, develop, and manage production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high efficiency and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, quality, and corporate operations
• Implement and standardize best practices aligned with global manufacturing systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, mitigate risks, and optimize performance
• Support capacity expansion, new product launches, and process scalability in a hyper-growth environment
• Mentor and develop supervisors and frontline leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience working in global manufacturing organizations, preferably within automotive or high-volume industrial production
• Demonstrated success leading teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented operations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems
• Proven ability to manage change, drive accountability, and lead through complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks
• Exposure to multi-site or international manufacturing operations
• Strong ERP/MES system experience
