Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Management:
Receive, inspect, and input new/used vehicles into the inventory system (e.g., DealerTrack), ensuring accuracy.
Lot Organization:
Arrange vehicles on the lot for optimal display, customer experience, and operational efficiency; manage vehicle relocation.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate digital records for all vehicles, including VINs, features, status (in-service, sold, serviced), and reconditioning progress.
Inventory Flow:
Oversee the process of getting vehicles from delivery to "retail-ready" (cleaned, prepped, photographed).
Auditing & Reconciliation:
Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile with system records; monitor inventory movement.
Sales Support:
Coordinate with the sales team, ensuring vehicles are available and accurately represented online; update inventory feeds.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer skills, especially with inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Basic math skills for data entry and reconciliation.
Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
Drug Testing is required.
Ability to work outdoors and lift objects.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reporting Structure Typically reports to the Sales Manager, General Manager, or Used Car Manager
