Duracell
Shift Maintenance Leader will be responsible for providing shift leadership, technical support and training for all lines in the plant. They will report to a maintenance manager and work hand in hand with on shift site leaders to drive shift output and capability. Shift Maintenance Leader will be the first point of escalation from the line team for any technical problems and will help deliver the business needs regarding accomplishment of shift planning and scheduling and breakdown elimination. Demonstrates effective leadership skills and accountability by mentoring and training line teams.
Responsibilities
The Shift Maintenance Leader The primary duties of a Shift Maintenance Leader include: Works closely with shift leaders proving technical and leadership support. Coach and assist with the day-to-day workload of the shift PMFL Maintenance Technicians. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned. Perform escalation to off-shift personnel as required. Complete written documentation as required including input to shift pass down reports. Work in ABCD shift schedule to support 24-hour pant operation. SML is responsible for a 12-hour plant mechanical performance. Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, housekeeping, quality and Duracell policies, procedures, and recognized practices. Lead and coach teams in performing failure analysis and unified problem-solving approaches to troubleshooting. Qualifications
Education & Experience Must be currently assigned to a M-Level role. Must have completed Ramsey and Hands-On testing with an acceptable score. Computer familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with SAP, MaintainX or other CMMS. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Effective verbal and written communication. Can communicate clearly in person and in reports. Collaborates well with others and proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.
