Affinity Interactive is seeking a Buyer - Food & Beverage (F&B) to join the Corporate Purchasing team. As part of the team, you will be working out of the corporate office in Las Vegas, NV, and will be responsible for supporting all procurement activities related to Food & Beverage operations across all Affinity Interactive locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Senior Food and Beverage Buyer to source and purchase items as requested by each food and beverage department while ensuring quality and meeting business needs

Review department purchase requisitions to ensure adequate details and approvals are provided prior to processing

Create Purchase Orders (PO) and coordinate with receiving to monitor delivery of items purchased

Expedite orders and arrange best new delivery dates in the event of a delay

Source and present substitute (like) items to requestor for items out of stock or delayed

Research and identify potentially new suppliers for food and beverage items

Prepare and manage RFPs and RFQs

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for a reliable supply chain

Continuously track food and beverage market trends, commodity prices, and potential risks to inform purchasing decisions

Identify and log savings opportunities

Collaborate with F&B and Marketing departments to properly plan, cost out and execute items for new menu rollouts, special events, limited time offers (LTO’s), etc.

Schedule tastings, cuttings, sample reviews as needed/requested

Create and maintain item numbers and specifications within the purchasing systems

Resolve delivery discrepancies with suppliers and invoice variances within Ottimate in a timely manner

Communicate clearly, professionally and effectively with vendors and internal customers at all times

Assist F&B departments with budgeting and forecasting

Performs other duties as may be assigned

All duties to be performed in accordance with departmental and Affinity Interactive’s programs, policies, and procedures

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of Food & Beverage procurement experience in a hospitality or restaurant chain environment preferred or equivalent education and related experience.

Culinary experience is a plus.

Strong computer skills working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Stratton Warren, RedRock, Zoom.

Capable of analyzing data, making data-driven decisions, and developing “should-cost” models.

Strong interpersonal, time management and teamwork skills.

Ability to train F&B staff on the procurement/inventory system.

Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization with excellent written and verbal skills.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:

Minimum 21 years of age.

Must possess a local valid driver license.

Must obtain and maintain multiple gaming licenses if required.
