Position Overview EW Howell is seeking an Insurance Compliance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing a high volume of subcontractor’s insurance policies for compliance with EWH’s insurance requirements, identifying noncompliant insurance through policy analysis and exercise discretion in determining the need to elevate to Director of Risk Management to obtain insurance waivers, working directly with subcontractors and their brokers regarding any non-compliant insurance issues, following up and working diligently until the issue(s) are rectified, maintaining and tracking insurance policy documents and information in all EWH systems, and providing regular communication on the status of the subcontractor’s compliance status to the project teams. Must possess ability to interpret various types of policies, policy endorsements, insurance terminology, subcontractor risk profiles, etc., ability to quickly spot problematic exclusions, missing endorsements, etc., and ability to understand General Liability and Excess Liability policy forms, endorsements, and interpret coverage terminology.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Detail oriented with strong analytic skills

Requirements
5+ years’ experience working as a Property/Casualty Broker or related capacity.
5 years experience in insurance verification (preferred).
