Key Responsibilities
Source and procure raw materials, components, and MRO items required for manufacturing operations.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
Manage and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery, quality, and performance.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production planning to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams to gelijkening material requirements and specifications.
Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimization.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5+ years of direct purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for procurement functions
Strong understanding of洲 manufacturing processes, technical specifications, and quality requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, fabrication).
Proficiency in a second language relevant to international sourcing.
Certification or practical experience in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles or Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
