Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

* Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

* Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

* Generate and analyze financial reports for management.

* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.

* Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

* Support audits by providing documentation and reports.

* Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate).

* Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

* Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
