Column Technical Services is seeking Conference Services Coordinator where you'll play a key role in managing high-profile meetings and events, collaborating with A/V, facilities, and catering teams to ensure every detail runs smoothly in New York, NY. This is an onsite position; only candidates located in New York or New Jersey will be considered.
Job Summary
Responsible for scheduling conference rooms for meetings and events within the main campus conference center.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of conference facilities, coordinating with A/V technicians, catering teams, and environmental services to ensure seamless execution.
* Generate and distribute daily and weekly event reports to internal staff and support departments, with special attention to VIP and large-scale events requiring elevated coordination.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of proven experience collaborating with A/V teams, facilities management, and catering services during event planning and execution.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and responsive approach.
Strong organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
* Capable of handling high-volume requests via phone, email, and electronic forms, while meeting tight deadlines.
* Proficient in using PCs and Microsoft 365 applications.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Familiarity with event planning software platforms.
Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
