Private Family in Georgetown, Washington, DC Seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper
Position: Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Flexible schedule, approximately 25-30 hours per week (generally half days)
Salary: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: Flexible / ASAP
Relocation: No - local Georgetown/DC-area candidates only
About the Family
A private family located in Georgetown, Washington, DC is seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Part-Time Housekeeper to support their household during a sensitive and transitional time. The family recently returned to the U.S. after spending the past several years in Germany and is reestablishing their homes in Georgetown.
The primary residence is a 1,100 sq ft flat , and there are two additional nearby properties in Georgetown that are currently unused but will come back into rotation once renovations are completed (anticipated around June). At that point, hours may increase closer to full-time, if desired.
The family values discretion, competence, and initiative and is looking for someone who can truly take ownership of the home(s) without needing to be closely managed.
Children: 3 adult children - one lives in the flat, the 2nd lives in Rome and sometimes visit, the 3rd is in NY
Home Size: Approx. 1,100 sq ft primary residence (plus additional nearby properties in the future)

Household Staff: Housekeeper role only
Responsibilities
* General housekeeping and upkeep of the home
* Some laundry and household organization
* Running errands and managing household needs
* Grocery shopping and keeping the home well stocked
* Cooking and meal preparation (healthy breakfasts and lunches; family enjoys home-cooked meals)
* Light household management tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly even when the family is traveling
* Preparing homes ahead of family arrivals
* Occasional overnight house sitting, as needed
* Supporting a calm, clean, and comfortable home environment
