Description

Our rapidly growing regional Creditors' Rights law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality legal representation, treat all clients with fairness and respect, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is a fully remote position with a hybrid component, requiring occasional court appearances and onsite meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Demonstrates exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills.

* Handles high volume caseload and provides expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.

* Negotiates with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.

* Willing to travel to various courts within the state of Georgia, if needed, as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings.

* Works with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.

Position Requirements

* 0-3 years' experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation, attending court proceedings and associated regulations.

* J.D. from an accredited law school with an Active license to practice law in GA. A license to practice law in other states in our footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus but not mandatory.

* Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

* Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

* Outstanding Time Management skills

We are pleased to offer a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 for qualified candidates
