Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU night position requiring cardiac device management skills and an active IN or compact RN license.

Job Details

- Position is based in the Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU of a hospital,

- This is a cardiac medical and surgical ICU unit,

- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30,

- Responsible for a 2 patient ICU assignment,

- Management of cardiac devices such as Impella and IABP is required,

- NxStage training is preferred,

- Position is for a 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

- Active IN or compact RN license required,

- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

- Minimum 2 years of relevant ICU nursing experience,

- NIH Stroke Scale certification is preferred,

- Recent experience with Impella and IABP devices required,

- Nursys verification and license primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start,

- Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address,

Additional Information

- Responsible for providing specialized nursing care to cardiothoracic transplant and cardiac surgery patients,

- Team-based ICU environment with advanced cardiac device support,

- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on shift rotation,

- Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate per facility's radius rule,

- Covid vaccination is not currently required,
