Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is seeking a CV Thoracic Transplant ICU RN with 2 years' experience and cardiac device management skills for a day shift travel contract.

Job Details

- Work in a CV Thoracic Transplant ICU within a hospital setting,

- Cardiac medical and surgical patient population,

- Typical patient ratio is 1:2 in the ICU environment,

- Shift is 07:00 to 19:30 on scheduled days,

- Care includes management of cardiac devices such as Impella and IABP,

- Preferred candidates have NxStage training,

Job Requirements

- Active IN or compact RN license verified through Nursys with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start,

- Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or equivalent critical care RN experience,

- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required,

- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred,

- Experience managing advanced cardiac devices including Impella and IABP,

- Must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US home address,

- All travel positions require two recent references and a copy of driver's license,

- Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate per facility radius rules,

- COVID vaccination is no longer required for this assignment,
