We are currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Los Angeles, CA (90019)
A warm, busy family in the Miracle Mile area is seeking a dependable, engaging part-time Nanny to support their two toddlers during weekday afternoons. This role focuses on preschool pick-up, hands-on childcare, age-appropriate activities, and light household support related to the children.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, confident, managing two young children, and interested in building a long-term relationship with the family as they grow.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 2:00pm - 6:30pm
Start Date: January 15th
Length of Position: Long-term, ongoing
Rate: $30 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
2 Children: 3-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive, nurturing after-school care for two toddlers
* Pick up both children from preschool daily (5-minute drive; nanny must use own vehicle)
* Safely transport children using family-provided car seats
* Prepare and serve healthy after-school snacks
* Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities at home and in the community (library, museum, outdoor play, etc.)
* Support children's development through play, routines, and engagement
* Prepare and assist with dinner for the children
* Perform light child-related housekeeping, including:
* Tidying and organizing children's rooms and play areas.
* Children's laundry.
* Dishes used during care
* Light meal prep for children's snacks or meals
* Run occasional child-related errands (e.g., quick market runs)
* Communicate clearly with parents regarding daily activities and any concerns
Requirements
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
* Minimum of 2 years of paid childcare experience with toddlers
* Must provide at least two professional childcare references
* CPR & First Aid certified or willing to become certified
* Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle; mileage/gas reimbursed separately
* Comfortable driving children
* Able to pass a background check, social media screening, motor vehicle report, and can show proof of driver's insurance
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $30 per hour, in addition to mileage reimbursement. The family is seeking a long-term, part-time Nanny for approximately 22.5 hours per week, with guaranteed weekly hours.
