We are looking for a detail-oriented Point of Sale (POS) QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the seamless functionality of electronic payment systems through rigorous testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in POS testing, API testing, and manual testing, along with a passion for quality assurance, development, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform POS system testing, focusing on electronic payment validations and API integrations.
* Understand project documents and product objectives to create and execute comprehensive test cases.
* Conduct various types of testing, including Regression, Integration, End-to-End, and Sanity testing.
* Utilize test inventory tools such as Octane, TestRail, or HPALM for release and test management.
* Track and manage defects using JIRA or similar ticketing tools.
* Identify risks and errors in applications and provide detailed reports on findings.
* Stay up to date with evolving technology trends to enhance testing processes.
* Collaborate with teams to refine test strategies and improve overall product quality.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years of experience in manual testing within a structured QA environment.
* 2+ years of hands-on experience in POS system testing.
* 1+ years of experience working with JIRA or other ticketing tools.
* Basic knowledge of programming languages and process management methodologies.
* Strong understanding of test methodologies and their associated tools.
* Ability to effectively recognize risks and errors within applications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
* Enthusiasm for testing, development, and design, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
