Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
We are hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a 1st shift manufacturing position with overtime available . This role supports the assembly and testing of mechanical systems in a production environment. Ideal candidates have hands-on shop experience, mechanical aptitude, and are comfortable using tools and reading drawings.
What You'll Do
* Assemble mechanical components in a manufacturing / production setting
* Use hand tools and power tools to complete assemblies
* Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and basic drawings
* Assist with mechanical testing and basic troubleshooting
* Pull, stage, and organize parts and hardware
* Pack finished assemblies for shipment
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
* Follow safety, quality, and production standards
* Support general production and shop tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
* High school diploma or GED
* 1+ year of experience as a mechanical assembler, production assembler, or manufacturing technician preferred
* Mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
* Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
* Basic math skills (measurements, fractions, decimals)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
* English communication skills (verbal and written)
* Veteran/Military candidates encouraged to apply
Shift & Schedule
* 1st Shift
* Overtime available and expected as needed
Physical & Work Requirements
* Manufacturing / production shop environment
* Standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools throughout the shift
* Ability to lift up to 50-80 lbs
* PPE required
* Background and drug screening required (per local laws)
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
