Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing various construction and commercial projects. This role involves assisting in scheduling, budgeting, and effective communication between all project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in project planning and scheduling efforts for commercial construction projects.
* Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
* Support project budgeting by tracking expenses and financial reporting.
* Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
* Participate in project meetings and contribute to progress discussions and problem-solving efforts.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
* Assist in the management of resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in project management or construction assistance roles.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in a project context.
* Experience in commercial or light industrial construction projects is preferred.
