As a Bookkeeper, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including invoice processing, cash flow management, general ledger activities, and financial reporting. What you will do:
* Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, and authorize payments through the billing software
* Generate and oversee cash flow statements to ensure effective financial oversight
* Handle bank deposits and document all transactions with precision
* Compile and interpret financial data from the general ledger and departments to produce monthly consolidated reports
* Operate and reconcile an automated consolidation system by entering and verifying financial data
* Construct and evaluate spreadsheet models to support financial analysis and strategic planning
* Post general ledger transactions by organizing documentation, maintaining files, and performing account reconciliations
* Facilitate expense disbursements by estimating accruals, coding accounts, initiating payments, and balancing related entries
What you will need to be successful:
* Associate degree preferred
* Bookkeeping experience
* Knowledge of QuickBooks
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
