Operations Manager Role:

* The Operations Manager will assist General Manager in executing the overall direction and coordination of the local business unit.

* This role will lead-safe work practices and lean management of the transportation and delivery function.

* The Operations Manager will work closely with the Team to ensure accountability for inbound/outbound logistics.

* They will report to General Manager.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations.

* Design strategy and set goals for growth.

* Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.

* Set policies and processes.

* Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.

* Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.

* Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.

* Direct the employee assessment process.

* Prepare regular reports for upper management.

* Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.

* Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).

Job Requirements:

* Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

* Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence.

* Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

* Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.

* Lift, push, pull, and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.

* Move up and down stairs.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

* Previous experience with final mile deliveries.

* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.

* Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).

* Spanish speaking preferred
