American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor with leadership experience and an active MA RN license for a rotating 12-hour shift position.
Job Details
- Work in a hospital setting supervising multiple nursing units and departments,
- 12-hour rotating day and night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage required,
- Position covers evening, night, and weekend shifts,
- Patient population ranges from infancy to geriatrics,
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, timely patient care,
Job Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration,
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
- Minimum of 5 years of staff RN experience including charge nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting,
- Demonstrated leadership experience in nursing,
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience required,
- Nursing degree required (diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred),
- Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B,
- Two professional references required, with one at the manager level and a recent performance evaluation,
Additional Information
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising patient care on multiple units during assigned shifts,
- Acts as the on-site hospital representative accountable for operational and administrative activities,
- Evaluates and provides clinical direction to nursing staff,
- Makes staffing decisions to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient care,
- Member of the Nursing Leadership Team and involved in divisional planning and goal achievement,
- Monthly parking fees may apply for onsite parking,
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers except for certain units,
