Job Description
A law firm in the heart of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing complex litigation tasks, ensuring compliance with court procedures, and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Organize files, produce accurate legal documents, and perform e-filing in state, federal, and administrative courts.
* Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence and legal filings with attention to detail.
* Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and attorneys while managing multiple calendars and travel arrangements.
* Maintain legal calendars using Juralaw and other electronic court rule programs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Coyote timekeeping, and DMS (iManage) or similar software.
* Minimum of 3 yearsexperience as a litigation secretary supporting multiple attorneys; knowledge of transactional law and administrative hearings is a plus.
* High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
