The Owner Relations Supervisor is responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with mineral and royalty owners, ensuring accurate communication, timely resolution of inquiries, and compliance with industry regulations, while ensuring accurate ownership setup and payment information is maintained in the land systems. This role oversees the owner relations team and 2 in-house analysts, coordinates with accounting and land departments, and serves as the primary point of contact for ownership-related and maintenance matters.

Responsibilities

* Team and project leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the owner relations team. Assign and oversee projects related to ownership changes, division orders, and royalty payments. Monitor performance metrics and ensure timely resolution of owner inquiries.

* Title and ownership management: Oversee the review and processing of title documents, division orders, and ownership changes. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing mineral and royalty ownership. Collaborate with land and legal departments to resolve ownership discrepancies.

* Data accuracy and maintenance: Maintain accurate ownership records in company database. Audit and reconcile data to ensure integrity of payment and ownership information. Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and improve reporting accuracy.

* Interdepartmental coordination: Serve as the liaison between owner relations, accounting, land, and legal team. Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve complex ownership and payment issues. Provide management with regular updates and reports on owner relations activities.

* Process Unclaimed Property Funds: Execute and manage the escheat process across reporting companies.

* Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements. Develop and implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve owner satisfaction. Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies or systems that improve accuracy and efficiency.

* Technical proficiency: Utilize advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, and proficient in Quorum Upstream application, both classic and web. Subject matter expert in Quorum Upstream and Owner Relations. Train team members on technical tools and ensure proper system usage. Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory requirements impacting owner relations.

* Owner communication : Respond to inquiries from royalty and working interest owners, resolve title defects, and ensure timely and accurate payments.

Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience as a senior division order analyst or higher.

* 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.

* Preferred: Juris Doctorate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Energy Management, Accounting, or related field

* Strong knowledge of division orders, royalty payments, and mineral ownership regulations.

* Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

* Proficiency in Quorum Upstream functions, classic and web versions.

* Knowledge and understanding of land systems and oil and gas accounting principles

* Ability to travel internationally to support business needs
