Summary
The Dishwasher/Busser position is responsible for taking direction from the Chef to complete janitorial and support tasks for the front and back of house (FOH/BOH) operations. These tasks ensure tableware, utensils, cooking equipment, kitchen prep areas, and dining environments are clean and sanitary. Dishwasher/Bussers will assist in restocking and resetting dining areas for service. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Dishwasher/Bussers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe, ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, and occasionally resetting dining areas, preparation of dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by thoroughly cleaning and restocking of preparation and cooking stations. This position will occasionally assist in hot and cold prep work.
This position will receive additional compensation as a percentage of service fees collected on all sales, to be paid out on their paycheck bi-weekly. Service fees distributions will be determined based on the number of hours worked and total sales accumulated in the pay period. Service fees will be collected on both daily dining and group/special event dining.
Essential Function Duties and Responsibilities

* Collecting and removing kitchenware and utensils from dining and kitchen areas to be properly cleaned
* Loading and unloading washing machines
* Washes specific items by hand, as needed
* Answers, reports to, and follows directives of Chef
* Cleans and maintains any equipment used.
* Stores clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
* Assists with the restocking of service-ware and other dining needs
* Maintains cleaning supplies and reports when supplies need to be recorded or ordered
* Regularly removes garbage from FOH and BOH
* Sanitizes kitchen areas, including floors, as needed.
* Comply with all sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Reports any knowledge of necessary repairs to equipment, and/or unsafe conditions, to immediate supervisor.
* Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
* Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
* Maintains the driving range bays and removes plates, trash, utensils, cups, etc. and sanitizes all dining areas after patrons' use.
* Assist in kitchen with occasional prep work
* Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
* Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Hands on experience with industrial washing/cleaning equipment
Special Qualifications/Preferences
* ServSafe® Food Handler certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
* Valid State of Florida Driver's License with a good driving record
Pension Plan : Provided through the Florida Retirement System (FRS). Choice between the Investment Plan with a one (1) year vesting schedule, and the Pension Plan with an eight (8) year vesting schedule. Mandatory 3% pre-tax contribution.
