Job Description: We are seeking a reliable Contract Dishwasher to join our team in Shockoe Bottom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Responsibilities: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. - Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. - Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. - Sweep and scrub floors. - Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars. - Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications: - Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items. - Attention to detail and reliability.
