- This position requires a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a 700-bed skilled nursing facility located in Upper Manhattan.
- The role involves working onsite during day shifts, Monday through Friday, with alternate weekends.
- Responsibilities include patient care management, maintaining medical records, and ensuring effective communication and safety in the facility.
- Proficiency in general computer applications is necessary.
Requirements:
- Oversee patient care for long-term and short-term individuals.
- Provide direct patient/resident care as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
- Initiate effective interdepartmental communication.
- Maintain a safe and appropriate environment.
Qualifications:
- BSN preferred.
- Valid NYS Professional Registered Nurse License.
- At least 6 months of nursing home experience.
- Familiarity with NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards.
- Knowledge of MDS and PRI processes preferred.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
