Registered Nurse - Oncology | Columbus, OH
Overview
- Facility Setting: Comprehensive Cancer Center
- Unit/Department: James Clinical Resource Unit
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) | Weekends: Variable | Call: No
Requirements
- License: RN (Compact: Yes)
- Certs: ACLS, BLS, OCN (preferred)
- Experience: 2+ Years
- EMR: Epic
- Compliance: Flu Vaccine Required (Medical Exemptions Only)
- Locals: Accepted at the Same Rate
- RTO Policy: Must be included with submission
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for oncology patients in a specialized setting.
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central lines.
- Monitor vital signs and manage symptoms in patients with cancer diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
- Implement infection prevention protocols.
- Float to various Med/Surg units as required.

- Parking available for staff.
- Scrubs required; cafeteria on-site.
- Orientation includes weekday dayshift training followed by bedside orientation.
