American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida, requiring a compact or FL RN license and current AHA certifications.
Job Details
- Position is based in a hospital LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Nursery) unit,
- 13-week contract with 36 hours per week,
- Day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15,
- Every other weekend is required,
- Holiday availability required if scheduled,
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate based on distance from the facility,
Job Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license,
- Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience,
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from AHA,
- NRP certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required,
- Fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within 2 years if not on competency exam),
- Nursys license verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start,
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,
Additional Information
- Will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn nursery,
- Holiday shifts required if they fall during assignment period,
- Scrub or dress code may apply per unit policy,
- Candidates may only be considered for one Ascension position at a time,
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required,
- Auto-offer process for all placements,
- Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration,
- Separate professional references and a copy of driver's license are required,
