Job Summary:
This position is for a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) in a pulmonary clinic setting. The MA-C will be responsible for assisting with patient care, performing various clinical tasks, and handling office duties. The role requires at least 6 months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic, with pulmonary experience preferred. The MA-C may need to float between the Seattle and Issaquah locations.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain vital signs, including height, weight, and pulse oximetry.
- Record patient history, medications, and allergies.
- Set up and assist with procedures, such as nebulizer treatments.
- Administer immunizations and intramuscular injections.
- Collect and label specimens.
- Handle authorization forms, chart preparation, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests.
- Stock supplies.
- Administer medications and TB tests.
- Make follow-up phone calls.
- Room patients.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- MA-C (Medical Assistant-Certified) certification.
- At least 6 months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
- Experience with vital signs, injections, specimen collection, and medication administration.
- EPIC charting experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Pulmonary experience.
Special Considerations:
- Must have reliable transportation and no scheduling restrictions.
- May float between the Seattle and Issaquah locations as needed.
- Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).
- RTO (request time off) must be presented upon submission.
Scheduling:
- 5x8hr shifts, 0800-1700 (Monday-Friday).
- No weekends.
