Job Summary:
This position is for a Medical Assistant (MA) to work in an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) clinic setting. The MA will support the clinical team by assisting with patient care, scribing during visits, and performing other related duties. The role requires experience with computer skills and EMR systems, specifically EPIC. The position is available for both local and travel candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with their care in the ENT clinic.
- Scribe for the provider during patient visits, documenting information in the EMR system (EPIC).
- Float between clinic locations as needed (First Hill, North Gate, and Canyon Park).
- Collect patient data and specimens as needed.
- Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures.
- Answer phones and direct calls.
- Perform selected patient registration activities.
- Coordinate equipment and supply needs.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active MA-C certification preferred; MA-R certification accepted with previous clinical experience.
- BLS certification.
- At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in dermatology, adult outpatient, pediatric, or private clinic.
- ENT experience is required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Reliable transportation (not public transportation).
- Good computer skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- None specified.
Special Considerations:
- Must have reliable transportation and no scheduling restrictions.
- Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).
- Occasionally, there may be opportunities for extra hours on Fridays.
- Clinician will float between clinics within skillset (First Hill, North Gate, and Canyon Park).
Scheduling:
- 4x10hr Days, 0730-1730 (Monday shifts are 0800-1700).
- Monday/Thursday shifts will be at the First Hill location.
- Tuesday shifts will be at the North Gate location.
- Wednesday shifts will be at the Canyon Park location.
- No weekend requirement.
