Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage daily administrative tasks, including maintaining organized filing systems and calendars.
* Enter and process vendor invoices, bills, and payments accurately and on time.
* Assist with payroll preparation and updates, ensuring employee data is current.
* Support communication between internal teams and external vendors through email and phone.
* Compile and prepare reports and documentation for management meetings and audits.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email platforms.
* Familiarity with accounting systems and tools for accounts payable and receivable.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
* An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Prior experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, and general accounting tasks.
* Knowledge of compliance requirements and financial record-keeping practices.
* Previous experience using accounting software and database systems.
* At least 2+ years of experience in administrative or accounting support roles.
