American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuroscience ICU position in Massachusetts with a strong background in neuro critical care and an active MA RN license.
Job Details
- Work in the Neuro ICU caring for critically ill adults with neurological diagnoses such as neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injury with complex comorbidities,
- Unit has 24 beds with a typical census of 22,
- Assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, day/night rotating shifts,
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday,
- Clinician to patient ratio is 1:2,
- Epic charting system is used and prior experience is preferred,
Job Requirements
- Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at the time of consideration,
- Current BLS certification through AHA is required,
- 2+ years of recent strong critical care experience is required,
- 1+ year of travel nursing experience is required,
- 2+ years of neuro critical care experience is preferred,
- No pending licensure accepted,
- Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions allowed,
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with complex neuro critical conditions,
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital,
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided at time of assignment,
- No validated parking is available; public transportation or paid public parking is necessary,
- Timekeeping is managed using UKG/Kronos,
