A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motived care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn't just a job, it's a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs.
We are seeking to hire a Certified Medication Aide - CMA .
* $24 per hour.
* Part-Time schedule.
Certified Medication Aide - CMA Qualifications:
* Ohio CMA Certification.
* Must have successful completion of training in Assistance with Self Administered Medication.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* CPR certified.
Certified Medication Aide - CMA Job Summary:
* Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, toileting, and/or transferring as needed
* Assist residents with the management of self administered medication.
* Assist and participate with socialization of residents.
* Serve food trays and assist with the set up of the meals as instructed.
* Assist residents to the dining areas and prepare for meals.
* Initiate CPR or other emergency intervention for residents as needed.
* Attend and participate in the required in-service class on Assistance with Self Administered Medications.
