Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Schedule: Every other weekend required; some holidays required

Pay Rate: $60-$70 per hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU to join an adult Neuro Intensive Care Unit for a night-shift contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care expertise, prior Neuro ICU experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neurological patients

* Conduct accurate and timely patient assessments in an acute care setting

* Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment

* Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

* Document care accurately using EPIC Electronic Medical Records

* Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and protocols

Qualifications

* Active New York State RN license

* BLS certification (current or able to obtain prior to start)

* Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience (required)

* Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)

* Level I Trauma Center experience preferred

* Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

* Travelers must have experience in facilities of equal or greater size and acuity
