Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay Range: $2,200 - $2,600
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient/ambulatory setting
* Conduct thorough nursing assessments and implement appropriate interventions
* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
* Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
* Monitor and document patient responses, and escalate concerns as needed
* Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC preferred) to ensure accurate documentation
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
* Uphold infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications:
* Active RN license in the State of New York
* Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
* Minimum of 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years
* Previous experience in outpatient oncology strongly preferred
* Familiarity with EPIC EMR is advantageous
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills required
* Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers is highly desirable
