Stations Quality Assurance Auditor Stations Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor performs operational and regulatory compliance audits of all Allegiant bases and stations, ensuring the quality and consistency of implementation and adherence to regulatory and company requirements. The role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Stations and Safety/Security leadership, auditing and ensuring compliance with Stations and Safety/Security policies.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum three (3) years of airline customer service and/or ground operations experience (preferably 14 CFR Part 121 operations).

Minimum one (1) year of airline auditing experience (preferably 14 CFR Part 121 operations).

Knowledgeable in 14 CFR Part 5 SMS requirements, with emphasis on Safety Assurance.

Ability to facilitate individual and group discussions comfortably and effectively.

Excellent problem‑solving and structured thinking skills.

Skill in developing materials and providing creative solutions for operational and leadership improvement.

Proficiency in Microsoft application suite and Allegiant internal systems/applications.

Strong experience in operationally based technical writing.

Knowledge of Allegiant Stations standards and processes.

Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks under general supervision.

Well‑developed planning and organizational skills.

Willingness to work flexible schedule, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional short notice.

Ability to attend and successfully pass required training.

Ability to sustain heavy travel schedules (50+%).

Work in various environments, including office, airport, indoor and outdoor, with extreme temperature ranges.

Read, write, and speak English to receive and understand instructions, directives and ensure safety.

Preferred Requirements

College degree.

Operational auditing certification (preferably in air operations) from a recognized auditing organization.

Job Duties

Plan and develop pre‑audit preparation in accordance with the FAA accepted Safety Manual (SAFE).

Prepare audit scopes and activities as necessary, including safety, administrative, above and below wing aircraft handling, aircraft loading, security, deicing, environmental health and safety, and in‑plane fueling activities.

Perform scheduled and risk‑based audits, identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting findings and/or concerns.

Ensure ongoing communication with applicable local leadership while performing audit activities.

Prepare and deliver verbal briefings of all audit non‑conformities to applicable local and corporate leadership.

Document and submit formal reports of all audit non‑conformities to applicable local and corporate management personnel in a timely manner.

Ensure completion of all applicable audit corrective action plan responses within the approved electronic SMS record‑keeping system.

Escalate and address ineffective or overdue corrective action plan responses promptly.

Maintain and update internal audit files.

Assist the Manager of Station Quality Assurance with development of supplemental audit and/or training material as needed.

Provide on‑job training oversight of trainee auditors as needed.

Perform safety assurance validations of corrective action responses to various regulatory programs.

Conduct ad‑hoc station observations or inspections at the request of applicable leadership.

Interface with FAA CMO Aviation Safety Inspectors as needed.

Maintain open communication and provide ongoing feedback to the Manager of Stations Quality Assurance.

Positively represent the Allegiant brand through professional demeanor and appearance.

Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements Requires standing, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and operating a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May need to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs and work various shifts/days in a 24‑hour situation. Regular attendance is required. Exposure to moderate noise, temperature, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in confined areas and sit at a computer for extended periods. Some travel may be required.
