Litigation Associate - Full-time
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Required Qualifications:
* 2-5 years in civil and commercial litigation
* Juris Doctorate degree
* Must be licensed in California
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word
* Legal research and technical writing skills, including proficiency with legal research tools
* Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
* Experience in both state and federal court proceedings
* Strong academic and employment credentials
* Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
* Good interpersonal interaction skills
* Well-organized
* Proven track record of performance

* Handling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial
* Propounding and responding to discovery
* Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
* Attending court hearings
* Preparing and arguing motions/oppositions
* Trial preparation
