We are currently hiring for a Full time Shower Aide
About the Role: Showers are a critical part of the caring and healing process for our residents-a chance to treat them with gentleness and dignity. Residents often share how much this means to them and how it makes them feel better. If you have a heart for care and want to make a meaningful difference, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate showering and bathing assistance to residents
* Assist with transferring and lifting residents safely
* Follow all tasks and care plans as assigned by a licensed nurse
* Maintain a respectful and supportive environment for residents
Job qualifications:
* Washington State Department of Health Certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C)
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Experience as a nursing assistant
* Able to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
* Able to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs
* Caring and compassionate heart
