About the job Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, PM, inventory, and maintenance on production machinery.
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
* Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
* Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
* Install, maintain and repairs equipment required to meet production needs.
* Install services and repairs electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
* Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
* Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
* Replace fuses, light bulbs and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
* Disassemble and reassemble equipment.
* Ability and willingness to assist in training.
* Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
Experience:
* High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
* 4 or more years of related work experience in mechanical and / or electrical trades is preferred.
* Completion of a recognized program in vocational training for the mechanical or electrical trades preferred.
