Description:
The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney with a minimum of 5 years in insurance defense. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas and be in good standing with the Texas Bar . Additionally, candidates must have completed the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense.
* Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.
* Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with CLE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.
* Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
* Develop and execute case strategies from inception through trial or settlement.
* Engage in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
* Provide clients with regular updates and legal advice, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the legal process.
* Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
* Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
* Stay current with developments in insurance defense law and fulfill all CLE requirements.
