Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a high acuity night shift role on a Surgery Trauma unit working with spinal, neuro, and trauma patients.

Job Details

- Work in a hospital Surgery Trauma unit with high acuity cases,

- Patient population includes spinal, neuro, and surgical trauma patients, including gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic cases,

- 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week,

- Block scheduling is not available; flexibility required for assigned shifts,

- No on-call responsibilities,

- EPIC EMR is used and experience is required,

Job Requirements

- Active GA or Compact RN license required,

- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg or Surgery Trauma specialty,

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred,

- EPIC charting experience required,

Additional Information

- Responsible for caring for high acuity trauma and surgical patients with complex needs,

- Must be able to work assigned shifts without guaranteed block scheduling,

- No requested time off (RTO) will be granted during this assignment,

- Two professional references from supervisors or managers needed for consideration,
