American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring strong ortho and trauma surgical skills.
Job Details
- Work in the 5B Surgical unit providing care to medical-surgical patients with a focus on orthopedic and trauma cases,
- Hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week,
- No on-call responsibilities,
Job Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required,
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg, ortho-surgical, or trauma experience,
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
- References from similar experience within the last 2 years from supervisors or managers,
- Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days,
- Experience with relevant EMR systems preferred,
Additional Information
- No requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment,
- Responsibilities include caring for post-surgical, orthopedic, and trauma patients,
- A comprehensive skills checklist related to specialty is required,
- Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding,
- Candidates must provide up-to-date certifications and badge-appropriate identification upon consideration,
