To maintain a clean, healthy environment for visitors and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs and debris.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Clean apartments, public areas including restrooms, elevators, stairways, offices, pool area, changing rooms and other designated areas in & out of the building.
* Dust all furniture, lamps, TV, pictures, window edges, blinds, and air conditioner vents.
* Polish & scrub showers, sinks, mirrors and other fixtures.
* Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.
* Transport trash to designated areas.
* Ensure that equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times.
* Wash personal clothing required for resident.
Qualifications
* Must have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or healthcare setting.
* A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
* Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.
The Ideal Candidate
* Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
* Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.
* Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
* Demonstrate good verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
