A dynamic and growing litigation boutique law firm with a national practice is seeking a confident Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience in civil defense and insurance coverage. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly respected litigators who handle complex matters across industries and jurisdictions.
About the Role
* Civil Defense Litigation: Assist in defending clients in a wide range of matters, from personal injury claims to complex commercial disputes. Responsibilities include case management, client reporting, written discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial preparation, and trials.
* Insurance Coverage: Conduct research and writing on complex coverage and bad faith issues. Support insurers in coverage litigation, including defending against bad faith and unfair practices claims.
* Collaboration: Work closely with experienced partners and colleagues who bring "AmLaw 100" quality service in a boutique setting.

Qualifications
* Experience: 2-6 years in civil defense and insurance coverage litigation.
* Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, research, and writing abilities.
* Knowledge: Must be well-versed in the Connecticut Practice Book and Connecticut practice/procedure.
* Admissions: Connecticut required; New York and/or Massachusetts admissions are advantageous.
Location
* Residency in the firm's West Hartford, Connecticut office(Massachusetts attorneys have a satellite office) .
