Job Title: Post-Harvest Lead

Hourly Range : $19.81

Type : Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location : Brow Grow | Denver

Position Objective

As the Post-Harvest Lead, your key objective is to meticulously supervise the trim team, ensuring precision and efficiency in the post-harvest processing of cannabis plants, while collaboratively supporting the overall post-harvest operations at every stage.

Essential Functions

Trimming (40%)

* Supervise the trim team, ensuring precise and efficient trimming of cannabis plants.

* Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trimming and post-harvest activities.

* Provide guidance and training to trimmers to maintain consistent quality and productivity.

* Monitor trim quality, track progress, and make adjustments to meet production targets.

* Maintain a clean and organized trim area, adhering to health and safety protocols.

* Collaborate with the Post Harvest Manager to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.

* Provide clear duties and expectations to the team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

* Report any issues or concerns to the Post Harvest Manager promptly.

Post Harvest Assistance (40%)

* Assist the Post-Harvest Manager in overseeing the entire post-harvest process, including drying, curing, and packaging.

* Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

* Conduct quality control checks on dried and cured cannabis to maintain product excellence.

* Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory management.

* Troubleshoot any issues or challenges during post-harvest operations.

* Contribute to process improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and product quality.

* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.

Data Collection and Compliance (20%)

* Collect post-harvest data accurately and comprehensively.

* Supervise the team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

* Facilitate the pulling of compliance samples in alignment with SOPs.

* Ensure meticulous cleanliness and organization during all post-harvest processes.

Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. Additional duties may be required as needed to support overall operations.

Requirements

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be at least 21 years of age.

* Reliable transportation.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and time management.

* Organizational skills.

A Plus, but Not Required

* Previous experience in a multi-facility, centralized post-harvesting environment.

* Familiarity with METRC compliance.

* Understanding of ERP systems.

Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)

* Ability to use a computer for extended periods.

* Flexible to work in office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.

* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

* Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

* Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado
