Sr. Accountant, SEC Financial Reporting

Century Group is working with a finance company who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid position, with one day in-office and four days remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

* Prepare monthly and quarterly and annual financial statements and internal reporting packages

* Partner with cross functional partners to understand the variances to revenues and expenses

* Prepare written explanations to document variances

* Research and document new accounting pronouncements in GAAP and / or IFRS

* Perform analysis on complex accounting areas

* Coordinate other data requests and analysis to support tax compliance processes

Requirements:

* Detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively with different audiences

* Experience with financial reporting tools (NetSuite, Workiva and Hyperion)

* Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word

* CPA License required

Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
