American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring EP experience and an active OK or compact RN license.
Job Details
- Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting,
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours per week, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM,
- Three-room lab utilizing IMPELLA, IABP, ROTAPRO, and LASER devices,
- Cares for adult and geriatric cardiac patients needing diagnostic and interventional procedures for CAD, ACS, STEMI/NSTEMI, arrhythmias, heart failure, and vascular disease,
- On-call required and 1 weekend per month (Friday-Sunday),
- EPIC charting experience preferred,
Job Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required,
- 1-2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required,
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience required,
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,
- Experience with cardiac support devices (IMPELLA, IABP) preferred,
- EPIC EMR experience preferred,
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility,
- Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,
Additional Information
- Provide care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures,
- Team operates in a three-room lab environment with advanced cardiac equipment,
- First-time travelers will be considered,
- Groups or travel pairs are not accepted,
- No more than three days of requested time off will be auto-approved and none permitted during orientation,
